Carpenter publishes essay in Catapult magazine

Scott Carpenter, Marjorie Crabb Garbisch Professor of French and the Liberal Arts, published an essay in Catapult magazine, called “The Medi-Morphosis.” It’s a personal account of dealings with medical services in France (ranked number 1 in the world by the WHO), contrasting it with the 37th best healthcare system (that would be the U.S.). Don’t worry: it has a happy-ish ending.
