Resources for Parents and Families of New Students

Parents love helping with move-in day!

The parents and families of new Carleton College students often have as many questions as their students! We hope that the information on this page will be useful.

Move-In Day

Move-in day for first-year students begins at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2024. See the Parent & Family Schedule and more Move-In-Day Resources.

Staying in Touch

New Student and Parent Mailings

In mid to late May, two paper mailings will be sent from Carleton: Mailing #1 (for Students) and Mailing #2 (for Parents). Information about these mailings can be found on the Checklist and Deadlines page.

Confirm Your Contact Information: help us stay in touch with you!

Most updates and campus information will be sent by email. Please let us know how best to reach you. The form also includes a questionnaire where you can share your interest in being involved as a volunteer. Carleton parents and families can be extraordinary resources of knowledge and talent for our students.
Access to make updates in the database will be available to you after July 1, but if you would like to make changes before then, please email us at addresses@carleton.edu.
