11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ARBORETUM TOUR, Kiosk in front of the Recreation Center
Hike a small slice of the Upper Arboretum to learn about the restoration work the College is doing in this 800-acre nature preserve. There won’t be time to share the whole place with you, but we hope to provide enough information to encourage you to explore more of the 15 miles of trails on your own. This tour departs from the kiosk in front of the Recreation Center. This tour is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Join the Center for Community and Civic Engagement (CCCE) and CarlsVote for a session on the many ways Carleton students make a difference in the world. We’ll cover important information about voting and civic engagement along with ways you can get involved in the Carleton, Northfield, and Faribault communities. Each year, hundreds of Carleton students partner with non-profit community organizations and local schools through paid work-study positions, coursework, and volunteering. Join us to discover how you might make a difference in your time at Carleton. You might even get a free CarlsVote T-shirt or sticker! Dacie Moses, a long-time employee at Carleton, was known for inviting students to her house for homemade cookies and conversation. In her will, she donated her house to Carleton to serve as a shared gathering spot for students and alumni. 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. HANDS-ONLY CPR & AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED) TRAINING, Recreation Center
Collaborative efforts by multiple campus partners will allow the Class of 2030 to be trained in “hands-only” CPR and the proper use of AEDs, which are located in various campus buildings. This one-hour training experience will provide students with the necessary tools to respond efficiently and appropriately when faced with a heart-related medical emergency.

Interested in Muslim life on campus? Come join for Jummah (Friday) prayers in the Chapel at 4:00pm. Afterward we will walk together to Page West for the Muslim Social around 4:30 pm. Meet some members of the Muslim community, members of the Muslim Student Association (MSA), and our Muslim Chaplain. We’ll chat about Muslim life at Carleton and how to navigate the different supportive resources on campus so you have all you need as you begin your journey!

Be prepared for one of the most “udderly” amazing nights at Carleton. Participate in a variety of fun team building activities to meet new people and bond with your floor. Compete with others from your dorm and your floor for the chance to take home one-of-a-kind championship prizes and other Carleton themed memorabilia. The winning team receives a NOlympics Champions shirt. The second place team receives cow-themed prizes, and the team with the most spirit throughout the competition will receive the Spirit Award!
