Carleton’s Summer Liberal Arts Institute is hiring Teaching Assistants for July of 2023! The Summer Liberal Arts Institute (SLAI) runs 3-week pre-college programs each summer for high achieving, rising high school juniors and seniors. These high schoolers live and learn like college students during the program, and even earn Carleton credit. We are offering 6 programs this summer and have a variety of student staff positions open, including the Teaching Assistant position detailed below.
Teaching Assistant for the Fundamentals of Neuroscience Program
Employment dates: July 5 – 28, 2023 Room & Board included during term of employment
- This program will provide introductory learning about the anatomy, physiology, and chemistry of the brain. Teaching Assistants will work closely with program faculty to help students complete academic work, as well as assist with labs and some field trips.
- Ideal applicants have interest in working with high school-aged students and possess the ability to help and mentor them in the classroom
