Auditions for Carleton ensembles take place during New Student Week for first-year students. Carleton Orchestra and the Carleton Symphony Band, along with private string lesson placement, audition schedule found here.
For Orchestra and Symphony Band auditions, the following will be required:
- Solo of your choice (any piece of music, excerpt with a maximum length of one minute)
- Sightreading (excerpt provided at audition)
- Audition excerpt (see below)
