While Carleton’s Arena Theater and Concert Hall, known on campus as the Music and Drama Center, has been slated for demolition since the Facilities Master Plan was released in May 2014, its time for demolition is finally here. As we prepare to say goodbye to a part of Carleton’s history, we take a brief look back at the Center’s 50-year legacy.

Renowned musician and composer Caroline Shaw visits Carleton on Friday, April 12. A vocalist, violinist, composer, producer, and recipient of both a Pulitzer Prize and a Grammy Award, Shaw will perform solo and also be joined by Carleton music faculty performing compositions from her repertoire for string quartets.

‘Prairie Mystic’ joins the Carleton Choir for February 26 concert
26 February 2019Carrie Newcomer is a singer, songwriter, poet, and activist whose growing edge is learning how to live in “the beautiful not yet” with passion and purpose. She is joined by the Carleton Choir for a concert at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26 in Kracum Performance Hall.
