Guest Lecture: Zhao Xiaoxia

Reknowned guqin virtuoso, Zhao Xiaoxia presents her lecture "The Spiritual Solo and Cultural Integration of a Female Guqin Musician - Guqin's Inheritance and Development From Traditional Literati to Modern Stage".

Zhao Xiaoxia is a distinguished guqin master and educator at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and serves as a visiting scholar at China’s Royal Danish Academy of Music and as a visiting professor at Singapore Raffles Music College. Zhao has performed as a soloist with top orchestras, including the New Zealand, Sydney, and Netherlands Symphonies, as well as the Tokyo Philharmonic.
