    In October 2012 Carleton, St. Olaf, and the Northfield community came together to bring old blackboards to life in a creative open house at the Weitz Center.

    In fall 2007 artist Jim Proctor created a large-scale sculpture installation in the Upper Arboretum transforming buckthorn remnants into evocative hanging forms.
