Professional Life Post-Carleton
“Three days after graduation I moved to New York City where I worked in the high fashion world for almost ten years. I then moved to Colorado to live in the mountains and have been working in the outdoor space ever since. I don’t have any awards, but notable clients have been The North Face, Adidas, Ford Trucks, Tesla, the BBC, PBS, Netflix.”
Favorite memory of life at Carleton
“I used to love to work in the color dark room late at night. I would put on some loud music and just jam for hours on end. Experimenting and just being in my own space. I didn’t get in to photography really until my senior year and the creative freedom of the dark room was immense in my artistic development.”
Favorite memory of studying with Linda River Rossi
“Linda was my advisor, but really she was a friend and mentor. Her door was always open and she would take the time out of her busy schedule to sit and talk with me about what I wanted to do and where I saw myself going.
“I never thought that I could be a full time artist, but Linda apparently saw something in me and helped push me towards an internship in New York and the start of my career.
“I owe Linda my career. Without her advice I have no clue where I would be.”
