Entertainment

On Saturday afternoon, enjoy the upbeat sounds of Ernest James Zydeco, which engages people of all ages the world over. EJZ plays upbeat music featuring the accordion and washboard with a fulfilling, authentic grittiness. Ernest, a professional Zydeco musician for over 15 years, draws on southern roots to share his joyful music. Weaving multiple styles into their unique brand of traditional Zydeco music, the band creates a sound that taps into the heart of American music.

The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. There will be a wide variety of music and events to enjoy. There also will be plenty of time to reconnect with your classmates at evening gatherings in class lounges.

Faculty Connections

The Parade of Classes is a moving Reunion tradition. Alumni and family members are both spectators and participants as a visual display of Carleton’s history unfolds. On Saturday at 10:45 a.m., alumni, guests, and families will line up in order of class year around the Bald Spot with the 50th reunion classes near Sayles-Hill and the 5th reunion classes stretching toward the Chapel. The parade begins as the 50th reunion classes parade past the cheering younger classes on their way to Alumni Convocation in the Chapel. The 25th then falls in behind, followed by the 5th reunion classes.
