LTC Winter Conference -Lowering Barriers to Interdisciplinary Work

Mon, December 9, 2024 • 2:45pm - 4:15pm (1h 30m) • Weitz 235

Facilitator: Ross Elfline, Professor of Art History

Stipend: $50 for eligible participants

The interdisciplinary task force invites interested faculty and staff to discuss ways in which we might enhance cross-disciplinary teaching and learning at Carleton. During this session participants will have the opportunity both to articulate the barriers that currently prevent them from doing more interdisciplinary work and to propose solutions to these persistent concerns. Possible topics include: structuring faculty lines for greater flexibility; curricular planning to prioritize interdisciplinary work; and what an interdisciplinary liberal arts capstone might look like.
