In collaboration with the International Film Forum, MARS presents Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal (1957). Set in a time of plague, the narrative revolves around a chess game between the returning crusader Antonius Block and Death, played as Block and his squire journey through a wasted countryside in search of meaning.

The film will be introduced by CAMS Professor Carol Donelan.
