Carleton College’s extensive library of early musical instruments has been decades in the making but received particular support during the 1970s through three matching grants from the Presser Foundation as well as donations. Each term Dr. Moira Hill hosts a multi-day Early Instrument Petting Zoo where students can get a sense of the instruments. If you are interested in early instruments at other times of the term, email to: mhill@carleton.edu.
