Title: Complete Sequences
Abstract: A sequence of positive integers is said to be complete if every positive integer can be expressed as a sum of distinct terms from that sequence. We explore some examples complete sequences and show a neat criterion due to J. L. Brown for detecting completeness. Time-permitting, we'll make connections to Ostrowski decompositions and other topics. This talk is geared towards undergraduates with an introductory or developing background in mathematics.
