CS Bits and Bytes co-hosts John Clapp '91 from Deriva Energy

John Clapp '91, CEO of Deriva Energy, one of the largest utility-scale renewable companies in the US, will discuss how the current administration’s tariff and renewable policies are impacting the US renewable industry while demand is soaring from Microsoft, Google, and other data center hyperscalers. He will cover industry cycles and advancements over his 30 years in the renewable and electric power business as a consultant, investment banker and executive.

Deriva has already hired Carleton student interns and in the future plans to offer two internships working directly with John who will mentor executive management and specific projects to build new graduate skills.
