Traumatic stress can trigger or exacerbate multiple mental health conditions including post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and schizophrenia.  In this seminar, Dr. Bakshi will present work from her lab that identifies behavioral endpoints and neural pathways that are activated by trauma-like stress in a rodent model.  She will discuss how these changes ultimately could contribute to the pathophysiology of disorders like PTSD.
