You empitomize Carleton…for me and others. You were just a wonderful teacher and presence, you radiated competence in your work, you were often in your office when we students were working in the evenings in Mudd Hall. What can I say …Your presence, your person, your teaching….. YOU were and are the experience of Carleton for me. ( and i recall you unfailingly corrected the grammar in the labs and papers i turned in!)
I’m so sorry I can’t be at your party, as i am in charge of an event on the 13th. Wishing you the best in your retirement ! Maybe see you at reunion this year?
