Mark Hansell’s ASLN 111 Writing Systems course was one of the last classes I took in college (in winter or spring 1993), was completely out of my field (Biology), and remains one of the most memorable, challenging, and perspective-altering courses I have ever taken. I am so glad that I met you and learned from you, and am thrilled that so many other Carleton students got to experience your teaching after I graduated.
