Do you have questions about what types of scholarship fit within the broader umbrella of Public Scholarship? Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work in the field of Public Scholarship? Or what kind of publications your Carleton colleagues are involved in within a Public Scholarship focus? This session will provide an opportunity to listen to some Carleton professors discuss their roles and projects and for participants to explore and learn about different forms and definitions of Public Scholarship. There will also be room to discuss in small groups after hearing a few examples, and to raise questions and areas for further exploration including where we teach or involve Carleton students with public scholarship.
