As we continue to navigate online teaching, academic honesty violations are ticking up. Concerns about “getting the right answer,” the ease of looking things up, and the difficulty of proctoring exams may all play a part. This panel will explore the issues that we have been seeing at Carleton and will offer a chance to discuss how we can train our students to approach their work in an ethical way in the current environment. In addition, Academic Technology will be present to answer questions around Moodle settings that will help guide students in their ethical behavior.
