LTC Targeted Audience Lunch - The Teaching Toolbox: Making Deadlines Meaningful

Tue, October 11, 2022 • 11:45am - 1:00pm (1h 15m) • AGH Meeting Room

Students are coming to college without a lot of experience of “real” deadlines from K12.  How can we teach them why college professors use deadlines and how they function in our courses?  Using examples of scaffolding, calendaring, and metacognitive framing, we will start a discussion about how to help students understand the role of deadlines and time management in college-level work.

Participants must register for this event.
