Inclusion, Diversity, & Equity at Work: Navigating the Workplace

How can you navigate the professional workplace as a person from a marginalized identity or underrepresented background? How do the issues of Inclusion, Diversity, & Equity (IDE) show up in the workplace, in environments such as arts, for-profit, government, non-profit, and technology settings?
Join a panel of Carleton alumni and employer partners to learn more about IDE in the workplace.
Thursday, May 13th, 12:30-1:30 p.m. CST; RSVP via Handshake to access ZOOM link

Faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Please contact Chad Ellsworth at to receive the access link.
Panelists include:

Samuel N. Ndely II, Director of Employer Inclusivity at Center for Economic Inclusion

As Director of Employer Inclusivity, Sam leads the Center’s efforts to accelerate racial equity and inclusive economic growth in the region. He works directly with private-sector employers, regional leaders, and community champions to equip them with the knowledge, tools, resources, and networks to disrupt racially and economically exclusive policies and practices and institutionalize new, racially inclusive talent, procurement, investment, and stakeholder policies, practices, and actions.

NOTE: First 25 students to sign-up get a FREE El Triunfo burrito lunch, which will be available for pick-up at the Career Center (Johnson House) prior to the event.
