Carleton students use numerical information across all types of writing, from a brief figure framing an essay to a data driven comps project. Research Data Services help students become informed and responsible users of published data in several ways. The Gould Library provides data collections, research guides, and knowledgeable librarians to help students learn to find the data they need for their work. Read more in these pages about the Libe’s curricular and research data services.

Partners like the Quantitative Resource Center, ITS, the Geospatial Lab, the Writing Center, and St. Olaf work with the library to support students as they work with their data.
