Through Carleton’s extensive off-campus study programs, fellowships, and internships, students immerse themselves in new places and cultures, forge lifelong friendships, create lasting memories, and find inspiration in their studies and beyond. The photographs in this exhibit were selected from over 230 entries taken over 50 different experiences. Together, they represent a sample of the sights, colors, textures, and character of students’ off-campus journeys.

Thank you to this year’s contest judges: Peter Balaam, Kara Lloyd, and Chad Ellsworth!

For more information about the photo contest, visit the Off-Campus Studies website.

Also on view: sketchbooks made by students who participated in “Studio Art in the South Pacific” during Winter Term 2025.
