Make & Take Drop-in: Gilding with Abby!

A centuries-old decorative method used throughout the history of book arts to illuminate and enhance images, gilding involves carefully applying a thin layer of gold to a surface.

Stop by the table in the lobby to learn about the process from Library Conservator Abigail Merritt and try it yourself! When you finish, you’ll have a sparkly project of your very own to take with you.
