Awareness for Myanmar

Fri, May 27, 2022 • 4:00pm - 5:00pm (1h) • Gould Library - Athenaeum

Since the coup in February 2021, the Myanmar military has indiscriminately perpetrated numerous crimes against humanity including detaining and torturing political prisoners and resistance group members as well as innocent civilians. As a response, Burmese youth have taken up arms to topple the regime. Join us to learn more about what's currently happening in Myanmar and how you can support its democracy. This will be a half-hour talk followed by a Q&A session with Professor Tun Myint and John Win '25.
