Forms of Choice: The Art of Writing in the Middle Ages

This exhibition, curated by students in Latin 243: Medieval Latin, seeks to illustrate the diversity and complexity of the medieval manuscript. It emphasizes the medieval manuscript as the product of individual choices about everything from format and physical size to script forms and sizes to layout to illustrations and use of color.
