Jeff Berg is double major in cognitive science and political science from Wood Dale, Illinois. He is interested in applying psychological and neuroscientific concepts and methodologies to political and linguistic phenomena, and in general enjoys exploring the interfaces between academic disciplines. At Carleton, Jeff is a prefect for the Department of Political Science, a co-captain of the men’s varsity golf team, a member of the men’s club hockey team, and a staff writer for the campus sports magazine. After graduation, Jeff plans on working in a research capacity for a year or two before pursuing graduate studies in social neuroscience.
