Scarlet Park ’15
Scarlet Park is a Psychology major and a Neuroscience concentrator from a small town in South Korea. Her main area of research interest is neuropsychopathology of eating disorders. She has been working with the Eating Disorders Research Laboratory at Seoul Paik Hospital in Inje University for a year. This summer, she will work at the Eating Disorders Unit, Institute of Psychiatry at King’s College in London. Scarlet loves psychology because it is where philosophy meets science, and she enjoys pondering about the meaning of life in her own time. Scarlet is also interested in how people manipulate psychological influences to achieve certain goals – in marketing, public relations, and historical leadership. Outside of psychology, Scarlet enjoys playing the piano and traveling the world.
