Decorative header reading: In Other Words: A creative publication celebrating Carleton’s linguistic diversity

In Other Words is an annual publication celebrating linguistic diversity at Carleton.  Our goal is to create a space for free expression and creativity in all languages. We aim to give all students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to express themselves in a language other than English. We invite contributors to explore and express themselves in diverse ways, whether you’re using a language you’re fluent in or one you’re still learning. Along with the contributor’s original work, we wish to include an English translation so that readers can fully appreciate every submission.

In Other Words is a student-led collaboration between the Language Center, the Office of International Student Life, and the Writing Center at Carleton College.
