In her talk entitled “Creativity in the L2 Classroom: From Pedagogical Scenario to Assessment”, Sarah Anthony will look at how the development of creativity can be supported in the language classroom. To do so, she will present her use of theoretical constructs to scaffold an L2 assignment and its grading scheme, both aiming to develop learner creativity and language skills. This presentation will also briefly examine the advantages (and possible disadvantages) of promoting creativity in the L2 classroom.
