Language Center Only

Rooms

The Language Center has a limited number of rooms that are available for reservation. Rooms can be reserved for private or group study, film screenings, and/or other language-related games or events. Additionally, you can make appointments to learn how to use our new Meeting Owl Pro conference camera for use in one of our rooms if needed.

To reserve LDC 221 (small computer/film screening room), our Huddle Space, or our Lounge, please contact the Language Center directly.

If you are looking to reserve one of our classroom spaces (LDC 201, 203, 204, 241, or LDC 242, 243, and 244 after 3a), please contact Don or Solita directly. You should contact Campus Scheduling for all other rooms.

Resources

If you are looking for a specific Language Center Assistant to talk to, or to learn about the Language Center or any of our resources, please visit our detailed staff schedule page to find out when our Language Center Assistants are working at a time convenient for you. Assistants’ spoken languages and more information can be found on this page if you are looking for specific language help or conversation practice.

Exam Proctoring and Events

Most terms we assist with some form of language exam proctoring and our rooms may be booked during these times. We also have a variety of events and contests we put on during a term. Please pay attention to any signage that may be posted outside of classroom doors or within the Language Center that might indicate a room or space is already reserved.

All other classrooms in the LDC can be reserved at Campus Scheduling.
