The Carleton Telecommunication office supports the campus phones for the college. This includes physical phones, softphones, speakerphones and directory updates. Have a new employee or need phone assistance complete a TDX Telephone Support ticket. If you are moving offices, fill out the new Office Move Form.

Available phone options:
The Carleton phone system uses digital technology called Voice over IP (VoIP) to place calls using a network connection. You can choose to have a physical desktop phone or a softphone that is a software application used on your computer.
Grandstream 2135 desk phone which offers multiple lines (up to 8), large display screen and a speakerphone.
Sangoma softphone is a software application for your computer which allows you to make and receive calls. All faculty and staff that have an extension has a Sangoma account for remote work. We will provide you with a headset with a microphone to use if you need one.
