When I arrived at Carleton 6 years ago, the science departments were indifferent buildings than they are now – and my now-17-year-old son was a foot shorter! Over the summer, every classroom instructor station was replaced with an updated and more powerful computer. In addition, Evelyn M. Anderson Hall has five new classrooms, each of which has technology to allow students and faculty to project wirelessly.

As video conferencing tools evolve, Carleton now supports two video conferencing tools (Zoom and Google Hangouts Meet), in addition to a new lecture capture platform, Panopto. In our June issue, we introduced these tools. This article is a reprisal, with some new information.
