    Reimagining

    You’re probably familiar with the “Minute to Learn It” tips, which focus on getting the most out of Gmail and Google Calendar. Our long-term goal is to add tips that showcase ways that these tools can help us to do our jobs differently and better. See our first tip from Melissa Eblen-Zayas!

    New Student Gateway Launched

    This past summer, Web Services and the Dean of Students office redesigned the Student Gateway, an entry point to Carleton’s student-oriented services and information. This page was long overdue to be refreshed using current design, technology, and best practices.

    LTC/FLTG Winter Break workshop

    FLTG presents a workshop opportunity taking place December 6-8th. Three main areas will be explored as ways to address the learning needs of our students that fall outside of the 9 ½ week term: learning modules, eportfolios, and structures that extend our classrooms.

    LACOL Hack-a-thon in January

    On January 9-11, Carleton will host a team of faculty, instructional technologists and designers for an intensive workshop or “hack-a-thon” toward a collaborative quantitative skills support framework.  This event will bring together members of the Quantitative Skills working group of LACOL, the Liberal Arts Consortium for Online Learning.
