    Malwarebytes — next generation antivirus

    Carleton has recently started deploying Malwarebytes EDR, an application that continuously monitors end-user devices to detect and respond to cyber threats like ransomware and malware. Along with enhanced security, there are privacy issues of which community members should be aware.

    Bruce Schneier on data privacy and democracy

    Security technology expert Bruce Schneier gave a talk at Carleton in April, saying, “Data is the pollution of the information age.” Two of our student authors, Alex Tananbaum and Markus Gunadi, were among the audience, and they filed this report.
