The Hub to get a facelift

Over the past six months we have been remodeling the Hub to bring it up to current expectations.  Customizations include making it easy to login from the home page, and removing unnecessary clicks, which was a frequently-mentioned frustration.CardSort

In early September, we gathered a “focus group” of students to consider ways of reorganizing menu items to be more intuitive and meaningful.  Students shared ideas on how menu items might be renamed to provide more clarity about their function.  Building on this success, we have met with other groups on campus to get their insights and suggestions.  

In December we will be upgrading the look-and-feel of the Hub, as well as simplifying and reorganizing the menu structures.  Also, we reviewed feedback from our focus groups and renamed some of the items for better clarity.   

Future upgrades will include other suggestions from these focus groups, along with suggestions from our advisory committees and various campus organizations.  If you have ideas you’d like to submit, we’d love to hear them.  Please contact Sara Oster.
