On Tuesday, November 17 at 9:00am Carleton experienced a complete loss of off-campus internet service due to an issue with our upstream ISP. ITS staff are working on the issue, but we do not have an ETA at this time. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
UPDATE 10:30am: Our ISP confirms the issue is physical damage to cable in Northfield. They have a team in the area working to fix the damage, and estimate that service will be restored around 11:15 am. We will provide another update by 11:05 if more information becomes available.
UPDATE 10:45am: Our ISP now expects to have service restored at approximately 11:45.
UPDATE 11:50am: Our internet connection is back online and all services have been restored.
