ITS staff will apply critical updates to Eduroam, CarletonGuests, and Residential wired networks on Friday, August 26th, from 6-8pm. These networks will experience some degraded performance.
Devices that are already connected to the network should experience no disruption.
There will be brief periods during which you will not be able to establish a new connection between your devices and campus wifi or the residential wired networks. When you want to establish a network connection during these periods of the update, you may be prompted to enter your username and password, or you may see errors saying that network authentication failed, however entering your username and password or attempting to reconnect will not result in successful network connection. We expect these periods of degraded performance to be brief, lasting only a few minutes.
Once the updates are complete, you will be able to log into Eduroam, CarletonGuests, and Residential wired networks as usual.
