The issue has not yet been resolved. ITS have staff verified that most classrooms have the expected macOS applications, while some do not. Please bring a laptop as a backup.

Due to a hardware failure, the server that manages the “refreshing” aspect of macOS on computer lab and instructor computers is not currently operational. This means that some refreshing computers may not have all expected applications in macOS, or may be stuck attempting to refresh/update. ITS staff will attempt to resolve the issue tomorrow (Tuesday 05/21).
Faculty, planning on using the classroom instructor computer, may consider using the Windows side of the instructor computer if that option is available. To do this, you select the Windows logo upon restarting the instructor computer. Alternatively, you could bring your laptop as a backup.
