Beginning at 11:37 this morning, ITS began receiving reports of phone service disruption. Dialing into campus from an external number or dialing out to an external number from a campus number results in a message saying that “phone service has been suspended.”
Update 1pm: Metronet, our phone service provider, has reported that the outage is affecting multiple customers including St. Olaf and Carleton. Metronet is investigating.
1:50pm: Service is restored.
