In the early hours of the morning, one of the core servers used to manage internet connections on campus failed leaving approximately 80% of the campus without internet connectivity. ITS staff are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
Update 7am: ITS staff are moving services from the failed server to functional servers. As services are moved, they become functional again.
Update 7:30am: Norse is still experiencing an internet outage, but other services should now be functional.
Update: 7:45am: The network is functional on campus. ITS staff are monitoring the situation, and further network maintenance will be needed later in the week to return to full stability. Please contact the ITS Helpdesk if you experience network difficulties: 507-222-5999 or go.carleton.edu/helpdesk.
