RESOLVED: Intermittent Moodle Connectivity Errors

At 7:33pm ITS received notice that Moodle was returning various errors. Some people can get to Moodle with no issue or with some slowness, but many are seeing “Database connection failed,” “dbconnectionfailed,” or “504 Gateway Time-out” errors. ITS staff are investigating.

UPDATE 9pm: ITS staff have resolved the database errors. Slowness continues for many users and staff are working to diagnose and resolve that issue.

Update 10pm: We continuing to investigate the issue. No ETA on resolution yet. Next update at 11pm.

Update 10:40pm: Moodle is back to working normally.
