UPDATE: critical issue with Colleague and The Hub
2 April 2021The Registrar’s Office will be manually restoring add/drop data over this weekend. The Hub will remain unavailable to students, faculty, and staff until after this weekend’s data recovery work is completed. We have identified the cause of this problem; next week we will be adding additional protections against a recurrence. We are sorry for the inconvenience and are grateful for your patience and support.

2 April 2021We are currently working to restore the data to the state it was in at 9:30PM on Wednesday, March 31st and are working with campus departments to determine which data entry since then can be recovered and which will need to be reentered. We will send another update in a few hours.

RESOLVED: Network access largely restored to campus buildings
18 February 2021As of approximately 8:55pm, our network team confirmed that network access has been almost fully restored upon successful installation of new equipment in Musser. Wired Ethernet connectivity in Musser is still coming online: the network admins are still working to fully restore this connectivity yet this evening, and ITS will continue to monitor the situation.

UPDATE: Major network outage – Facilities & ITS working on repairs
18 February 2021A steam leak in Musser has been confirmed as the cause of the network outage. Water damaged critical network equipment in the Musser data closet which provides network connectivity to a number of other buildings. Facilities must address the leak before ITS can install new equipment; it will take several hours to restore network service. We will provide additional updates at approximately 7:30pm, when we anticipate ITS will have access to the closet after Facilities addresses the leak. See post for full details.
