Apple recently changed their licensing structure.
“iWork” (a suite of programs which includes Numbers (a spreadsheet program), Pages (a word processor) and Keynote (presentation software, similar to PowerPoint)) is now included as part of our campus agreement. Over Winter Break, the iWork 09 programs were deployed to all refreshing lab and classroom Macs on campus.
If you would like iWork 09 installed on your college-owned Macintosh, please contact Rapid Response at x5999.
Another suite of Apple programs, iLife 09, is also affected by this license change. These programs (iPhoto 09, iWeb 09, iDVD 09, iMovie 09, GarageBand 09) have been available on all refreshing lab and classroom Macs on campus since the fall. Now they, too, are available for use on your college-owned Mac. (It is likely that you already have these programs installed on your office Mac, though they might be older versions.) If you would like to have them installed or upgraded, please call Rapid Response.
These license changes do not allow the installation of these programs on personally-owned Macs.
