It’s that time of the year! It’s the annual goal-setting/appraisal/coaching season and we are all working on our list of forward-looking developmental opportunities that help us improve our job performance and push Carleton into the future. If you are considering options for your 2015 goals, here are some suggestions to consider:
- Improve your technical skills with content from Lynda.com (http://go.carleton.edu/lynda)
- Attend a software application conference like Ellucian Live, OnBase OTTC, or data warehousing
- Volunteer to test software during upgrades and implementations for projects during 2015 (e.g. we will be upgrading OnBase in August 2015)
- Commit to writing and improving process documentation in your area
- ITS will be utilizing more focus groups to gather information and perspectives that will help us improve processes and technologies. Commit to joining at least one focus group during 2015.
