As the college places greater emphasis on ADA compliance of public-facing materials, attention is turning to teaching materials as well. This session covers what makes a document accessible in the first place, along with practical remediation techniques using built-in checkers in Moodle, Google Drive, MSOffice and Adobe Acrobat Pro. We will also discuss free or readily available tools found on personal devices, in web browsers, and via Carleton resources for converting documents into audio and other accessible formats.
