ISL Tax Sessions

Another tax season has come and gone. We all know filing for taxes as international students is something new for most of us and can be very confusing and difficult. But with the help of the ISL office, we hope we made the tax sessions a bit easier for everyone. In total there were 3 tax sessions that spanned over 2 months where all international students were able to come and be assisted in filing and mailing their tax papers. Liz, the ISL peer leaders and office assistants were there to answer any questions and Fátima was in charge of final checks and mailing everything. More importantly, with the much needed help of Ann Etter, a CPA from Northfield, students were able to file their state taxes. ISL will continue to help international students to file and understand taxes. Students are always welcome to email any questions or stop by the ISL office any time. For now, we hope that everyone has a great summer and good luck during finals!
