Answers to questions about housing and food can be found on Carleton College’s Housing & Dining pages. Carleton students are only allowed to re-enter the dorms when they officially reopen. If you need to book your return flight after one of the breaks, please check with the Office of Residential Life for dates the halls or houses reopen before you confirm your return flight.

It is very important that you complete your housing application in detail. Please mention any special needs, accommodations or requests you have. For example, if you want to live only on an all women’s floor, if you need privacy to pray during the day, or if you want to live on a substance-free floor (no smoking). We will make every effort to consider your wishes. If you do not indicate these preferences in your application it may be impossible to make changes once you arrive.

Please note that NO on-campus housing is available to new students until the start of International Student Orientation; students must find other accommodations.
