Through the Annual Fund

Designate your Annual Fund gift to Learning and Teaching (which benefits curricular music) or Student Life (to support student music activities outside the classroom). Make a one-time or recurring gift at give.carleton.edu, call 800-745-2275, or mail a check to:

Through Endowed Funds

Endowed funds can create a lasting legacy of support for specific aspects of the campus music experience, such as providing scholarships and affordable music lessons, expanding the instrument library, bringing world-class performers to campus, and more. Whatever your generosity, our gift officers can help you identify an existing fund for your contribution, such as the Laudie Porter Memorial Fund, which is accepting donations in memory of former president and music professor David Porter, who passed away on March 25. They can also talk with you about establishing a new fund. Contact us at 800-492-2275 to learn more.

Through Naming Opportunities

Naming opportunities at a range of capital gift levels are available in Carleton’s new music and performance facility, which breaks ground this spring. Examples include:

  • $50,000: faculty office and studio
  • $75,000: practice room
  • $100,00: small practice studio
  • $150,000: green room
  • $250,000: commons
  • $500,000: balcony lounge
  • $1.5 million: medium performance/rehearsal hall
